About a week ago I was contacted by Kristin Korpos of “Nifty Knowledge Rocks!” to design a Podcast cover. Being I’ve never had the chance to do something like this, I immediately jumped on it. It seemed like it would be a fun short term gig to take on.

Kristin was looking for a cover that would grab her audience and her potential audience’s attention when lined up with other Podcast’s out there, and obviously having her feel and brand feel to the cover.

I went all out retro and quirky on this one, and had a blast coming up with it, as well as playing a lot in Photoshop. It went so well, that Kristin was impressed enough to have me design a new banner for her as well. And I know this sounds really cheesy, but do you know how cool it is to see your work on iTunes?? I know!!! RIGHT?!?! Ok, I’m sure I’m just being a geek about it, but I think it’s pretty damn cool. Check it!

With that said, I know a LOT of my clients are professional photographers, or photographers ‘heading on up’ and if you’re really thinking of starting your own photography business you should really check out Krstin’s podcast’s and her website that offers a LOT of material and “business sense” when it comes to starting up.
