This past Spring, well it was still winter, so January, Majka had emailed me about designing her and Peter’s wedding stationary. A few months before that I had a good time creating their “save the date” magnets, so of course I had to say yes!

The challenge for me was not the aspect of incorporating fun and energy into the the invitation, but incorporating Montana and New Hampshire at the same time. Taking two flowers, one that grows on the ground (Montana’s Bitterroot), and another that grows on a bush (Purple Lilac) and trying to find a way to make them work nicely together. And this was the end result.

We also came up with the new color “bragenta”, well Majka did. It’s burgundy and magenta infused together. (Just the word infusion makes me want a really good meal or a good drink).

So there you have it, a partial gate fold wedding invitation that incorporates Montana and New Hampshire with state flowers and the infusion of “Bragenta”
