I had such a hard time actually narrowing down the work I design for Opryland – I”m sure I”ll add more.
I’ve been working with them since the summer of 2011 and I have to admit it’s been a blast!
Not only are the projects fun and challenging, but the people I get to work with freaking ROCK!
A 10′ x 6′ banner displaying Opryland’s values and standards that was designed with a “just about to go on stage” feel.
OPRYLAND ROCK STAR ANNIVERSARY
This project was a lot of fun. I cranked a lot of 1980’s hair bands (which I also enjoyed) to get these posters and banners popped out.
It was pretty cool when I was sent pictures of my work with people rocking out next the designs.
OPRYLAND WORLD OF OPPORTUNITY POSTER
So basically Marriott purchased Opryland towards the end of 2012, but they wanted an info-graphic of the history of Opryland up to that given point. This was also a very fun piece to create.
Sticking to the main Opryland colors, but also having a retro flare to it, and getting to have fun with type?? This was a win-win for me!
These brochures are just some of the many “smaller” projects I create. With the hidden meaning that nothing is small in Nashville…or is that Texas?
A lot of my design work for Opryland consists of designing brochures, pamphlets, newsletters, pocket maps, directional signage, and so much more.
**FYI: Some of these items I had to “re-create” in a different environment because the lighting in the actual pictures were pretty horrendous.**
