Website redesign and rebranding for Kristen Jane Photography

The Brief
Kristen Jane is a boutique wedding photographer in New England, providing creative wedding photojournalism to couples.  Her previous website was a basic and very simple website that seemed to be lacking Kristen’s full happy and very genuine personality, which she wanted portrayed in her brand and website.

The Solution
Creating a fun and vibrant website that captured Kristen’s personality. A website that didn’t distract from her work, but highlighted her photography. Something that was authentic and original.  I wanted to play with texture on her site, I mean what designer doesn’t want to play with texture?! Something that would give a soft and elegant undertone across the website. After doing three variations of the site (the other two pushed the envelope a bit more with illustrative graphics and font) we finally came to the conclusion for something a little less whimsical, but still had a lively flare but also was elegant and sophisticated in it’s own way.
